My Reading About hedgehogs


Hedgehogs in Your Garden

Re-read your book with a buddy in your group.
Answer these questions in blue.
Remember to use capital letters and full stops.
Try to use the question to start the answer.


1.  Why is it good to have a hedgehog in your garden?
It is good to have a hedgehog in your garden because they can eat the slugs and bugs and caterpillars.

2.  Make a list of things that hedgehogs eat.
Hedgehogs eat slugs caterpillars and eggs and birds and bugs .

3.  Find a word in the story that means:
  • eating it means chewing something  ONE WORD FROM THE STORY!
  • sick it means ill
  • hurt  injured by cars and lawn mowers

5. Make your own Hedgehog Fact File to display on your blog.  Use different facts than page 20.
Leave it as a draft on your blog and I will publish it when I have checked it.
